Plot Background

Wukong escorts Sanzang on his journey to the West, attains the Buddhist scriptures, and successfully completes his mission.

However, the Monkey King is naturally inclined towards freedom and does not abide by conventional rules. As soon as Tang Monk returns to the East, he resigns from his position as Buddha, wanting to return to Flower Fruit Mountain for leisure.

Unexpectedly, this retreat into seclusion still invites suspicion.

The Four Great Heavenly Kings, Erlang Shen, and the Great Sage God lead their celestial troops to charge towards Flower Fruit Mountain once again.

The arrogant Yang Jian dismisses his Hell Hound and challenges Wukong to a one-on-one combat as his “subordinate.”

(At this point, the battle mode will begin. Wukong does not have health bars, so refer to the previous combat system description to familiarize yourself with the fighting tactics.)

In another clash, Erlang Shen is clearly no match for Wukong.

However, Yang Jian has no qualms using underhanded tactics like sneak attacks and mobbing, apparently forgetting his earlier challenge for a one-on-one fight.

Wukong remains calm amidst the siege, trying to lure Erlang Shen away from his allies and defeat them one by one.

Unexpectedly, the Soothsaying spell that was supposed to have been eliminated suddenly reappears.

Wukong is immobilized by this spell and unable to move!

Taking advantage of the situation, Erlang Shen attacks and shatters Wukong’s indestructible golden body.

Alas, Wukong meets his end under such despicable means.

Once again, the cycle of change continues.

To everyone’s surprise, the soul of the Monkey King does not dissipate.

It is said that the soul of the Monkey King has turned into a giant stone, while his remains have become six spiritual artifacts, each hiding in different places.

And you, are the descendant of Flower Fruit Mountain, the chosen one spoken of by the Monkey Elder.

You will shoulder the responsibility of retrieving the six spiritual artifacts. Legend has it that when you bring back the artifacts to Flower Fruit Mountain, it will be the day of the Great Sage’s resurrection and return!
