Episode Three: Night of White Dew
In this episode, Tianming arrives at the Little Thunder Sound Temple, preparing to meet the Yellow Eyebrowed Boy under the Maitreya Buddha’s seat.
The overall map size and length of this chapter far exceed the second episode, but there are physical divisions between maps. As the maps grow in size, the exploration difficulty is also much higher than the second episode.
The author will first explain the core process clearly, and then supplement the details of each map.
1. Snow Mountain Path
– Frost Covered Path
When you encounter the little demon carrying a huge rock at the starting position, you can charge up your attacks and then dodge his strikes before dealing damage.
This monster has big movements, but staying focused should pose no problem.
The combat difficulty of the monsters in this episode has increased.
After going down the stairs, do not rush in to the left. First lure out the bat spirit (very similar to those in Huluo’s Demon Brothers) and deal with it.
Then go over to the chest and open it.
Inside the chest, you will find Cold Iron Leaves and Broken Gold, with water lilies that can be picked nearby.
Continue on the path, and you won’t miss any spiritual items on the side of the path.
Once you walk out and down the slope, you will reach the Snow Mountain Path – Frost Covered Path Land Temple.
At this point, you can choose to get some roots, go back to get the alcohol from Shenma, and remember to return to the first Land Temple from the first episode to buy the Zhiwan, which greatly replenishes your energy.
Here at Shenma’s place, you can buy Lotus Gourd, Winter Worm, Falling Jiaxiang, and Thunderbone Horn.
Back at Frost Covered Path, continue forward and you will encounter the Red-Buttocked (literally meaning buttocks, haha) Horse Monkey for the first time.
At this point, he will summon a little monster to challenge you.
Pay attention to the little monster’s swinging club, as it will swing fiercely a few times before exploding.
Continue up the mountain road, and on the right side, there is a small fork with a little monster and spiritual items.
Additionally, all the little monsters along the mountain road have a chance to drop pearls.
Utilize lock-in within the frozen monster pile to quickly identify which monsters are “alive.” When you reach the platform, you will face the boss.
Note that you can walk out to the left on the platform before the last section of stairs and find a coffin chest.
