Avoid the Sand Erlang’s two-hammer sweep combo.
The arena is large, so make full use of it by staying mobile and away from the Sand King, who, although weak, can be annoying with his sand throwing attacks.
You can ignite Sand Erlang by transforming into Red Tide.
As long as you don’t go all-out during the transformation, your stamina bar won’t deplete quickly.
Therefore, after igniting him, create distance and let the burning consume Sand Erlang’s health. Then ignite him again after the burnout.
The Earth Wolf transformation can also assist in dealing decent damage.
Note that Red Tide’s moves vary depending on the direction you dodge.
After using Red Tide, keep attacking while immobilizing him. Just make sure not to engage in close combat.
During the process, use Sand Erlang’s attacks to break the stone tablets, forcing the Sand King to come down.
But if you prioritize killing Erlang, you don’t need to do this.
Once Erlang is dead, the Sand King will flee, and later he will summon the Great Erlang.
