Ghostly demons are the big-headed monsters encountered during the transformation of the Golden Cicada, with strong strength (mainly thick blood). If you can’t beat them, you can wait for later or level up.
You can charge up to level 3 stick force when facing them and then use a heavy stick attack to knock them down, which can output for a period of time.
After the ghostly demon gets up, it can directly transform into a blood change with a scarlet tide.
Using the Scarlet Tide transformation to dodge and then continuously hit with heavy strikes can have the opportunity to knock them down again.
Then it’s time to stun and attack again.
At this point, you can usually take out more than half of their health.
Then look for opportunities to output after the ghostly demon dives.
The ghostly demon’s ground smash attack follows a 3+1 pattern, with the final hit having a charging effect.
Look for the opening after the final hit to output.
Watch out for their Rulai Palm attack, which has a long range. It’s safer to get closer to the ghostly demon for attacks and easier to dodge.
Defeating the ghostly demon allows you to obtain its essence, the ability to transform into a headbutt, which can be a useful hard control ability when used properly.
The Cat’s Eye Treasure String dropped by the ghostly demon can slightly increase critical strike chance.
