Starting from the Outer Forest, you can find Guangzhi along the red line road.
This is an optional boss, but the rewards are very good early on, so don’t miss out.
Guangzhi is just inside the mountain gate.
Guangzhi is the leader of these demons, nicknamed the Blade Wolf Master.
Skilled in fire attacks.
The key to defeating him is waiting for his vulnerability after a series of attacks.
Watch his moves closely to figure them out.
Defeat Guangzhi and pick up his dropped weapon to obtain the Crimson Tide Transformation Spell.
This spell comes with a fire attribute attack, which is particularly effective against monsters weak to fire like Lingxuzi, and can be restored by resting at the Earth Temple after use.

Don’t forget to hit the bell behind Guangzhi.
The spiritual essence on the nearby Buddha head can also be collected later.
In the treasure chest in this area, there is a Disaster Avoidance Medicine. The Millennium Ginseng is a monster that appears when collected, and the Crimson Tide fire attribute attack is very effective against it.
With the Crimson Tide, it’s good to go fight Lingxuzi. (Red-Bearded Dragon hidden boss will be explained later, defeat the Ghosts to get the Cat’s Eye Gem).
