8. Yellow Wind Great Sage
– Yellow Wind Monster
With the Fixed Wind Bead, you can challenge the final boss, Yellow Wind Great Sage.
Entering the whirlwind triggers the boss battle.
Note that it will be very difficult to defeat without the Fixed Wind Bead, so players looking for a challenge should consider it.
At this point, Yellow Wind Monster has turned to the dark path and sneakily cut off the head of Lingji Bodhisattva.
Practice has descended into an irreparable abyss.
Yellow Wind Great Sage is quite easy to defeat with over 7 levels of health.
Start with either a horizontal slash or a cleave, followed by a three-hit sword qi attack.
The sword qi is fast, so move in the opposite direction or roll to evade.
Approaching the boss will trigger a Steel Fork three slash followed by a jump.
The three slashes can be dodged, and for the fourth cleave, roll left or right to avoid it; after the Steel Fork pierces the ground, it causes a small AOE damage, followed by a fast foot stomp attack, so wait for it to land before moving forward to attack.
When Yellow Wind Great Sage has below 7 levels of health, it will unleash the Three Samadhi Divine Wind.
Use the Fixed Wind Bead to interrupt it, causing a major stagger and providing an ample opportunity for damage output.
Take advantage of the brief pause after smashing or hacking to deal some damage.
At this stage, Yellow Wind Great Sage reveals its true divine form and charges towards the player for a flying kick, which can easily result in being taken out.
Be ready to dodge the attack as it charges towards you.
If facing summoned sandworms, roll to evade.
When health is below 3 levels, use the Fixed Wind Bead to interrupt the tornado.
Use spells, crowd control, and transformation to create openings and finish off the remaining health.
Keep mana reserves as much as possible throughout, and go all out after the second phase.
