-The Black Bear Spirit
After cleaning and tidying up the land temple in front of the Black Bear Spirit, you can enter the boss battle.
The Black Bear Spirit is actually the Black Wind King, and this time it’s in its true form with a very thick health bar.
Many of the powerful bosses in ‘Black Myth: Wukong’ have a common trait – they trick you into attacking first and then suddenly trap you.
So, unless you are an experienced player, it’s best to control your attacking desires a bit and wait for the boss to make a move before seizing the opportunity.
The Black Bear Spirit will quickly gather its form and rush towards you at the beginning and from a distance.
After dodging, it’s best not to chase, as you may get interrupted and counterattacked.
If you dodge a few punches appropriately, there is still a chance to counterattack from the side.
When the boss falls down, there is a long period of vulnerability after the back smash, leading to more opportunities for output with a perfect dodge.
Don’t rush to transform into the Red Tide, as this may trigger the second phase directly when the boss is ignited.
It’s better to use the Red Tide when the boss has lost one-third of its health.
At half health, the Black Bear Spirit enters the second phase and will charge like the Black Wind King after transforming.
Since the area is large, don’t dodge as soon as you hear the explosion; assess the distance first.
After the explosion, the charging speed increases, and there is only a slight difference in dodge timing between close and far distances.
Use any moves that are effective during this phase, and attack aggressively.
Remember that you also have the ability to gather your form for dodging.
The fire shield can also be useful.
If the timing isn’t right, create distance to avoid being immobilized.
After being immobilized, a powerful blow can still do significant damage.
Note that the third swing of its three-hit combo is usually slower, known as the fast-slow blade.
