-Mad Tiger
When you follow the tambourine task to the well, you will encounter the hidden boss – Mad Tiger, who is also the brother of Tiger Vanguard.
Mad Tiger has a high combat difficulty, so it is recommended to use as much crowd control as possible.
If you can’t beat him, you can move on and come back later to try again.
Mad Tiger has a short pre-attack animation, less post-attack delay, and a high attack frequency.
Players must rely on quick reactions and high speed to respond, and using perfect dodges and the use of defensive skills will be crucial.
Players need to have a sense of timing for the boss’s fast and slow attacks, for detailed move breakdowns, please refer to our 3dm strategy site for move breakdown guides.
The best time to attack is after Mad Tiger finishes his agile movements, as he does not have an effective means to counter attacks from behind, it’s best to attack from his back.
Accumulate stick momentum to find openings in his moves and slowly chip away at his health with heavy strikes, but avoid rushing in and being greedy for hits.
When Mad Tiger reaches one-third health, he will roar and cause the ceiling to continually drop rocks, players need to pay attention to the rocks’ positions to avoid being hit.
Mad Tiger’s attack frequency increases when his health is low, so it’s advisable to use immobilizing abilities and transformations to wear him down.
Of course, using crowd control, transformations, immobilization, and high output damage is indeed the simplest way to deal with Mad Tiger.
Using the Windy Bead can also deal significant damage to Mad Tiger (see the later section on the Smoky Republic).
After defeating Mad Tiger, you will receive his essence and other materials.
Note that there is a Five-Ghost Gourd in the coffin in the well, which is a top-quality gourd that boosts attack power.
There is a temple outside the door.
