-Hawk Hermit/Hollow Knot
Before heading to the Sea of Suffering, let’s explore the world outside the scripture tube.
This time we will start from Anshen Temple and walk down the mountain.
At the fork in the road, there is a treasure chest on the left, and there is Lingyun on the cliff beyond the red circle cave.
The depression is the coffin chest mentioned above.
Return to the fork and walk to the far right to reach a snowy area.
Go around the red line position, and there is a coffin chest behind the hill, which is optional to take.
Then you can follow the blue line on the right side, sticking to the right mountain cliff all the way.
Just follow the right mountain cliff to avoid missing important things.
There are tree pearls along the way.
There is a Hawk Hermit Spirit in the gap.
Watch out, this guy is quite tough, it’s best to use special moves.
Continue on the path behind the Hawk Hermit, cross the bridge and go straight ahead.
You can see the tentacle monster at the red circle and the chest behind him.
The chest contains Hollow Knot.
Keep moving forward, and along the way, you will encounter a pear tree.
Moving forward will lead you back to Anshen Temple, forming a loop.
In addition, the Floating Tower/Painting Gallery on the map is a post-game feature (the direction mentioned before in the blue line), completing hidden bosses 1, 2, 4, 5 and the later mentioned Melon Field tasks to enter, where you can fight the hidden boss Erlang Shen.
