-Guangmou
After defeating the waves in Boli, you can take another route to go to the next area, the target is Guangmou, the senior brother of Guangzhi.
There are many skeletal snakes in the bamboo road around the Boli waves and the Snake Patrol area, the monster compendium calls them Bone Linye.
There are several flesh and blood snake monsters, which are the Snake Patrol. They drop a lot of Ling Yun and give a good amount of experience, so you can circle around to level up.
The Snake Patrol has a chance to drop Linglong Pill, but the chance is very low. You might need it for alchemy later, but there’s no need to grind here.
This valley leads to the next boss area.
You can also encounter activated Ge Mushroom when picking mushrooms on the map, similar to Thousand-Year Ginseng.
When defeated, they drop Ge Mushroom and Monkey Head Mushroom.
Remember that skills can be adjusted at any time, you can allocate points based on different bosses.
For example, adding points for Guangmou (2 points for the first two items for immobilization) is just one of the viable strategies.
Enter the forest through the statue pass to encounter Guangmou.
Guangmou is not very durable, but his moves are sudden, with many long-range moves and fast close combat moves.
It’s best to circle around, wait for him to attack, and then counter.
After his immobilizing poem ends, he will immediately launch a long-range attack, so be sure to dodge.
Circle around Guangmou and wait for his moves. The move with energy balls on the fan allows for a lot of damage output opportunities for the destined person.
If you have the chance, charge up to level 3 and attack with the heavy stick.
After his desperate blood move, you can smash his big head with the ghostly head for further control.
After immobilizing, continue with another wave of attacks should be enough.
When Guangmou is defeated, drops Iron Blood material can be collected, and you can also tame Guangmou’s soul for your use (although it’s not very useful, haha).
Don’t forget to strike the bell behind Guangmou.
There are a total of three bells at Heifeng Mountain. Ringing them all will unlock the Old Guanyin Temple scene.
