Paralyze Spell
Can temporarily immobilize the opponent, but they will continue their actions after recovery, so it cannot truly interrupt the opponent’s moves.
Usually paralyze the opponent and then target their moves, or paralyze them when they are on the ground/weak, and then attack with full force.
(Can also be used as a lifesaver.)
Sanctuary Spell
Creates a ring of fire with a long duration, and monsters generally will not enter the ring of fire.
Allows the character ample time for recovery, recharging abilities, or using hit-and-run tactics.
Close-range monsters hit by the Sanctuary Spell often fall to the ground.
